really love the new album -- i have indeed been obsessing over it. i read elsewhere on your blog that most of the songs on Prom are essentially in the same tuning. could i ask what that tuning is? it would make me really happy to try and figure out some of your songs at home!
ReplyDeletebest,
brandon
After careful analysis of a video (Into the Arms) I think the B string is tuned to a C. Haven't got to the rest yet. Really great album. Dave
ReplyDeleteUpdate on tuning. Bottom string (high E) is C. B string is F. G is G# D is now C. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteyou've succeeded! haven't stopped listening yet. great job guys. really stoked I found out about you guys. exactly what I was looking for.
ReplyDeleteSorry I never got to this...
ReplyDeleteThe tuning for most songs on Prom is (from lowest in pitch to highest)
E
G#
C
G# (octave up from first)
F
C
I believe that 3D Voices is
E
G#
C
G
F
A
Thanks! A different neighborhood on the guitar. Beautiful. The words for album 3 are very cool.
